Selection and solution of high temperature resistant plastics for injection molded parts

High-performance plastic profiles are extruded by vacuuming, which has better density than that of plastic parts, and at the same time avoids defects such as reduced strength of weld lines caused by injection molded parts; high-tech profiles are suitable for small batches and high-demand parts. High-performance plastic profiles cover sheets, bars and tubes, among others.

①PPS profile PPS exhibits excellent comprehensive properties under chemical and high temperature environments, including wear resistance, high load capacity and dimensional stability. PPS is suitable for applications where PA, POM, PET, PEI and PSU are defective and PIPEEK and PAI are too expensive and must be replaced by more economical materials. Because TECHRON HPV PPS has evenly distributed internal lubricity, it shows excellent wear resistance and low friction coefficient. It overcomes the defects of the high friction coefficient of pure PPS and the premature wear of the corresponding surface of the moving parts caused by glass fiber reinforced PPS. There is no doubt that these characteristics and excellent chemical resistance make TECHRONHPV PPS widely used in various industrial equipment, such as industrial drying and food processing ovens, chemical equipment, mechanical bearings and electrical insulation systems.

2. The high-grade polymer of PEI profile has excellent thermal power (long-term temperature resistance of 180 °C and rigidity, high hardness, good wear resistance, and outstanding electrical properties, making it extremely suitable for electrical/electronic applications. Insulation parts and various structural components that require high strength and rigidity at high temperatures. Because of its good hydrolysis resistance, it is widely used in the field of medical equipment and analytical instruments; The finished material, due to its ultra-high melting point, PEI has good thermal insulation properties. PEI also has excellent mechanical properties, electrical insulation properties, radiation resistance, high and low temperature resistance and wear resistance, and can be microwaved.

3. PES profiles have excellent thermal properties and oxidation stability, and the continuous use temperature of PES is 180 ℃ confirmed by UL. Insoluble in polar solvents such as ketones and some halogen-containing carbon chlorides, resistant to hydrolysis, most acids, alkalis, esters, hydrocarbons, alcohols, oils and fats. It has good toughness, rigidity and wear resistance, high hardness and outstanding electrical properties.
4. PSU profile PSU is a slightly amber amorphous transparent or translucent polymer with excellent mechanical properties, high rigidity, wear resistance, high strength, and maintaining excellent ester performance even at high temperatures is its outstanding advantage. The range is -100~150℃, the long-term use temperature is 160℃, the short-term use temperature is 190℃, and the thermal stability is high. It has good radiation stability, low ionic impurities and good chemical and hydrolysis resistance.

5. PAI profile PAI also shows excellent dimensional stability in a wide temperature range. This material is mostly used in applications with extremely high wear resistance, such as non-lubricated bearings, sealed bearing spacer rings and reciprocating compressor parts. Because of its inherent high temperature resistance, good dimensional stability and good machinability, it is often used in the production of precision parts for high-tech equipment. Due to its good electrical insulation, it is widely used in the field of electrical components.

6. The polyphenylene ether reinforced with polystyrene for PPO profiles is an amorphous material, and its working temperature is approximately -50~105 °C. It has high impact toughness, low water absorption, high dimensional stability and is not prone to creep. Its electrical performance is basically not affected by the frequency of loading, so it can be widely used in the electrical field. Advantages: good dimensional stability, low creep, heat resistance, high impact toughness, low water absorption, good electrical properties in a wide frequency range, not easy to hydrolyze, easy to bond, very light weight. Disadvantages: Not resistant to carbonated water, Typical applications: Electrical industry insulation, food industry components, shaft pulleys and cogs.

7. PA6+MoS2 profile, this kind of PA6 is added with molybdenum disulfide. Compared with ordinary PA6, its rigidity, hardness and dimensional stability are improved, but the impact strength is reduced, and the grain formation effect of molybdenum disulfide is improved. The crystalline structure improves the cutting and wear resistance of the material. The material is currently used in high-speed resistant bearings, bushings, gears, etc. in China.

⑧ Anti-static ESD profiles, anti-static products are mostly used on some sensitive electronic components including hard disk drives and circuit boards, etc., and are also an excellent choice for material handling equipment, high-speed electronic brushes and copying equipment. They neither rely on the atmospheric environment nor get out on the surface. Processed to obtain the discharge capability, the generated static electricity can be easily discharged along the surface of the component.
