Advantages of PES plastic raw materials

PES plastic--PES polyethersulfone resin, is a transparent amber amorphous resin, with excellent heat resistance, excellent dimensional stability, and good chemical resistance. In addition, PES shows excellent reliability against sharp temperature changes, and has excellent reliability in long-term use at high temperatures. Excellent processability and excellent properties make PES have a wide range of applications.
Advantages of PES plastic raw materials:
1. Heat resistance: the thermal deformation temperature is 200~220 °C, the continuous use temperature is 180~200 °C, and the UL temperature index is 180 °C.
2. Hydrolysis resistance: it can withstand hot water or steam at 150~160 °C, and it is not subject to acid and alkali erosion at high temperature.
3. Temperature consularity of modulus: The matrix modulus is almost unchanged from -100 °C to 200 °C, especially above 100 °C than any thermoplastic resin.
4. Creep resistance: Its creep resistance is the best among thermoplastic resins in the temperature range below 180 °C, especially glass fiber reinforced PES resin is better than some thermosetting resins.
5. Dimensional stability: the coefficient of linear expansion is small, and its temperature reliability is also small. It is characterized by 30% glass fiber reinforced PES resin, which has a linear expansion coefficient of only 2.3×10 / °C, and can still maintain a similar value to aluminum until 200 °C.
6. Impact resistance: It has the same impact resistance as polycarbonate. Unreinforced resin can be riveted, but it is sensitive to thin incisions, so care should be taken in design.
7. Non-toxic: In terms of health standards, it is recognized by the US FDA and also meets the requirements of Announcement No. 434 and 178 of the Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare.
8. Flame retardancy: self-extinguishing, without adding any flame retardant, it has excellent flame retardancy, up to UL94V-0 grade (0.46mm).
9. Chemical resistance: PES is resistant to gasoline, engine oil, lubricating oil and other oils and Freon and other cleaning agents, and its solvent cracking resistance is the best in amorphous resin. However, its resistance to polar solvents such as acetone and chloroform is not good, and attention should be paid to when using.
