What are the hazards of rubber and plastic products

     We should all be familiar with rubber and plastic products, but most people still don't know some professional knowledge. Let's take a look at the hazards of rubber and plastic products, so that everyone can use them better.

     At present, the double-sided adhesives for general industrial use can be divided into two categories: acrylic adhesive and rubber adhesive. For these two types, they can be divided into two forms: base material and no base material. No matter which form, We need to understand them in order to use them better. Let's take a look at the hazards of rubber and plastic products.

     First, rubber products are pressed under high pressure during molding, so this type of rubber products cannot be eliminated because of the cohesion of the elastomer, and may be extremely unstable when they are molded out of the mold. The shrinkage of rubber (the shrinkage rate of rubber varies with different types of rubber), it takes a while to ease and stabilize. Therefore, when designing rubber products, no matter the formula or the mold, it is necessary to carefully calculate the fit, otherwise the quality of the finished product will easily be reduced.

     Second, rubber is a hot-melt thermosetting elastomer, while plastics are hot-melt and cold-solid. Because rubber has different types of sulfides, there is a certain gap in the temperature range when they are molded and cured, and they may even be affected by indoor temperature and humidity due to changes in climate. As a result, the production conditions of rubber products need to be adjusted at any time so that good quality products can be produced.

     Rubber products will crack or harden to different degrees over time. The reasons for these phenomena are external factors and internal factors.

     External factors: The external factors that make rubber products age include oxygen, oxide, ozone, heat, light, etc.;

     Internal factors: The internal factors include the type of rubber, the way of molding, the degree of bonding, the type of compounding drugs, the factors in the processing engineering, and so on.
