During deep hole processing, the drill bit was not repeatedly retracted to remove chips, and the chips were not fully discharged, causing cracking due to extrusion. Insufficient cooling. When the drilling is insufficiently cooled, the cutting heat and cutting force generated are too high, and it will also burst. If the feed speed is too fast, it will increase the internal stress of the PEEK bar and cause bursting. Because the PEEK material is wear-resistant, the cutting edge of the drill bit wears out quickly when drilling. At this time, if the drill bit is not sharpened in time, the hard drilling will also cause explosion. Analyzing the reasons for the explosion can be divided into two aspects: material and processing: first, if the rough machining amount of the part is large, the heat generated will inevitably lead to the release of internal stress, which will lead to the deformation of the part. Especially the parts with high size requirements should be annealed once after rough machining, and then finished to the size requirements. The main function of heat treatment annealing is to improve the crystallinity of the part, thereby improving its strength and chemical resistance, reducing the internal stress generated during extrusion and machining, and improving the dimensional stability in a wider temperature range.
