EDM mirror spark machining must have five conditions
1, each time after the discharge should be able to recover the insulation performance of the dielectric deionization, mirror surface spark machining center must have a strong insulating medium.
2. The discharge between poles should be instantaneous and impulsive.
3. The discharge density between poles should be high enough to make the metal at the discharge point melt and vaporize.
4. A certain small gap must be maintained between the electrode and the workpiece, and it can be automatically adjusted. The specular spark machining center can ensure that the voltage between the electrodes can breakdown the medium, and will not form a short circuit contact.
5, between the two pulse discharge, there should be enough pause time, discharge electrical corrosion products, so that the electrode medium fully deionization, restore dielectric properties, to ensure that each pulse discharge is not at the same point, to avoid local burns, in order to make repetitive pulse discharge smoothly.
