The English name of PEI Chinese polyetherimide board is Polyetherimide, PEI belongs to amorphous plastics. It is an amorphous high-performance polymer, which is extruded from engineering plastics made of amorphous PEI (polyetherimide) at high temperature by an extruder. At present, the commonly used PEI board is the raw material (Ultem) of GE in the United States. In 1972, GE of the United States began to research and develop PEI.
 
Product Details
Duratron U1000 PEI is a polyetherimide profile product that is ideal for electrical and electronic insulation (eg, various semiconductor process components), as well as various structural components. These parts require high strength and stiffness at high temperatures, so Duratron U1000 PEI is a good fit. Duratron U1000 PEI has good hydrolysis resistance and can be sterilized by repeated autoclaving.

The composition of Duratron LSG PEI profiles complies with applicable EU regulations (Directive 2002/72/EC, as amended), United States of America (FDA) regulations for plastic materials in contact with food. Duratron LSG PEI profiles have passed successful shape testing to demonstrate compliance with the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and ISO 10993-1 guidelines for material biocompatibility testing, and we offer full production traceability from resin to profile. In addition, Duratron LSG PEI profiles perform extremely well in sterilization environments such as steam, dry heat, plasma, ethylene oxide, gamma rays, etc., making them ideal for applications such as medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology.
